This silk scarf features an ink painting I created after reading a book about the science of plant behaviour. I was so inspired by that mysterious botanical world that I found myself drawn to the way pea plants move with intention and awareness.
Through layers of hand-painted ink against a dark botanical background, ethereal tendrils dance and interweave, suggesting the subtle intelligence that exists in the plant kingdom. This surreal nature study celebrates both scientific observation and the quiet mystery of botanical life.
This 100% natural silk scarf is finished with a machine-rolled baby hem and dyed using reactive inks so it will last for years. The pattern shows through both sides, with the back side being slightly lighter.
It measure 36x36 in / 91x91 cm
Comes in a gift box.
This scarf is made on demand when you order it, so it will take about 2 weeks to get to you. This helps reduce waste from overproduction. I hand drew the art in Toronto, and it is crafted in Montreal.
